So...hi.

Yes, I completely dropped off the face of the earth. It was a combination of graduating from high school and subsequently going into a minor fugue state.

But I started getting nostalgiac. Honestly, I missed you guys and I missed this little pink-haired moe.

I won't be around as obsessively as I was before, but I will be around again.

Good afternoon, VDR.

Sam here (binarydiva, sloshbot, etc), and it looks like I'll be modding this place, along with June. Generally, the DR runs pretty smoothly, but a little organisation never hurts. I've made a mod journal, over at vdrmods, with a few notable posts in it. Firstly, there's a place to keep player contact all in order, a post for comments, complaints, suggestions and the like (comments screened, IP logging off, anon on) and somewhere for you to put out requests for canonmates and wanted characters.

I'd like to stress that this is 100% entirely optional, and you don't even have to take a look at it, if you don't want to. It's just nice to have it there for people who like OOC communication and coordination.

Lastly, while I'm around, if there's anything about the DR you'd like to discuss, go for it! The new tagging system is working pretty well, and I was thinking of doing a general mingling post once a month (more? less?) for people to build up new CR, and maybe even intro characters in them, because it can be difficult to find a way to get some characters into the DR that hasn't been done a thousand times. Events. Would anyone like any sort of events? Not a regular feature, of course, but maybe once every few weeks to a month. Really, I'm just throwing ideas out there, and it's far too hot for me to be thinking right now.
