MORE EVENT PLANNING

Ok looks like there's been a pretty good response for my events so I hope you don't mind if I get the ball rolling already for plotting when the first one will be and the details of it.

So there has been some requests for it to not just be Yandere Valentines, but instead cover all of the dere family. And I am fine with that!! We'll do it that way, so people can become yandere, tsundere, deredere or whatever other kind of cliche anime love you want your characters to fall into. :P

I'm thinking of doing it from February 5-13th so that maybe people can return to normal on Valentine's Day itself? Or should it start on V-Day and last a week?

And for the event tag... "[event] febudere" ?

Tell me what you think about those ideas, and in the meantime, those who wanna participate: Post here with your characters (individually) and then plot with each other for who you want your character to fall in awesome dere love with. Alternatively, you can say "Randomize me" and I'll throw those people's names together from a hat or something.

Oh and for our friends still on LJ, would anyone be willing to crosspost this/run it over there?

ETA anyone who is plotting or even randomizing should probably say what kind of dere they are interested in playing! And feel free to do love triangles too.

Yanderevingston would be bad, so it's tsundere/deredere for this guy. Would also prefer female matches only, but beyond that I'm pretty open to anything - if anyone wants him, lemme know. Triangles welcome!

As a sidenote: when this event was first proposed, I thought I'd go the predictable route and turn him smotheringly deredere for his Momo. Then it occured to me to have Saul ignore her completely in favor of his new 'love' interests. I've not decided yet, but I might just bounce him back and forth between the two states. Whatever causes the most amusing havoc, I suppose. XD

Hooookay I feel a little foolish. Read some of the other stuff around and learned that Tsundere and Fluffdere aren't my only options...

So, here's an addendum. With the possible exception of doubleringuns, I'm still not really comfortable with changing any of my own chars to the Yan type (being matched up with Yans is A-OK, though), but that aside I'm totally open to possibilities other than Tsun and Deredere. Also, all four of my musekids can be dropped in the Random Hat if they don't get any takers.





(As I seem prone to doing these days, I'm typing this while I ought to be sleeping, so hopefully I won't end up needing to correct my correction and thus embarrass myself further. 8'D)

Off the top of my head:

- Yandere: don't even lie you know what this is
- Tsundere: I think you know what this is too
- Deredere: Is apparently not an actual dere type, as I cannot find anything when I google it. But for the purposes of the event, it is simple, fluffy love.
- Kuudere: Someone who is "Cool" at first.
- Dandere: uhhh this just seems like extreme shyness to me. vOv

Those are the only ones I have heard of, I left out Kuudere and Dandere because they seemed boring hahahaha. (but ofc everyone else can do them if they want!)

And since I mentioned it to you in conversation the other day and you may not have known what I meant, Yangire is like yandere but not motivated by love. (therefore not applicable because this is a shippy event)
