Well, you see, this thought had entered my mind and seemed quite silly at first, as most sudden thoughts are, but it simply kept coming back and back and back. I had attempted to do some reading on the subject, you know, like the dedicated scholar I am, but every source I find seems to have something vastly different to say on the subject. I realize there most likely isn't some sort of clear-cut checklist, though that would be nice, I'm very accustomed to checklists. Clean and orderly, gets the job done in a timely manner with documentation already made to confirm the job has been done...

Oh, but I digress, don't I?

Let's see. Ah...I also realize it perhaps may be a touchy subject, but, is there any generally recommended route of action to take when the very real possibility comes forth that you may...hold affections for a particular individual?

Ah, well...I suppose I would enjoy doing what I've observed as traditionally "romantic" behavior. Such as joining hands when walking, being in close physical proximity while sitting and sleeping, going out together on "dates" to movie theaters, restaurants, parks, zoos, ice rinks and other such places, either for no reason in particular or to celebrate important occasions like a partner's birthday, Valentine's day, or the anniversary of the agreed beginning of the monogamous relationship.

...And to provide emotional support for the partner in times of turmoil or happiness, but that behavior doesn't seem to be exclusive to romantic relationships. Regardless, I'd enjoy it very much.
