Hey everyone, it's Rissa here just giving a heads up that vocaloidressing will be getting an updated tagging system here in the next couple days.

This was actually supposed to be posted a while ago, I've just been so utterly swamped you'll have to forgive me.

Anyway, it will be separated by canons in addition to the character tag so it'll be easier to find a certain character you liked or what have you, and as always you'll be able to change them to suit your needs. This will probably take a while for me to do, so if you want to help I would appreciate it. I'll probably be starting this about next Tuesday, but once again this is just a heads up. Keep up with the normal tagging system for now.

I'll make another post when it's actually changed, but this post would be nice for some creative suggestions. And don't limit it to just the tagging system, either, if you have an idea that would help the community run more smoothly then use this post to speak up! ♥

Well, there's still going to be a tag for characters but there's going to be an additional tag for canon. I just noticed I didn't really explain it as well as I could have oof

One thing I do have to wonder about, though, is what about the "canons" based off of multiple songs? Like the ridiculous Warum/Kokoro/Kiseki thing this guy and several others are from or... okay so maybe we're the only ones doing things like that orz. Anyway, would it just get multiple canon tags? Or would it get it's own, specific canon tag?

I see no problem with giving them a specific tag. I highly doubt we'll be reaching any limits here. It'll just have to be one of those tags the user will have to make themselves because...unless it's explicitly stated, I'm not gonna be able to tell I have a feeling.

I actually would love that. I feel like i'm so absent from it but it's my baby and I love it to death and I read almost every post :( JUST i mean there's not much modding in a DR like this, but an active member as a co-mod would be a good idea imo

Oh, I have a suggestion, for the tagging! To make it easier on you, you could put up a mod post in VDR, and let people just add song title tags to it. That way, the tags are already in use, and as such, will show up to everyone on the list of tags, and automatically fill in when you start typing out the song name in the tag field. This seems like the best way for everyone to help out!
