Hey, guys.

I know I just made a triumphant return from my endless hiatus, but something's come up.

One of my family members recently got sick. It was ridiculously sudden, we were up with her most of the night, and we're pretty sure this is it. It's not my mom or my grandmother, or anything - but I love her just the same and this is probably it.

Needless to say, I won't be posting again for a while. Probably about a week. Sorry to those whose tags I'm dropping - I'll be happy to pick them up again, once things settle down. But I just can't do it now.

She's very peaceful, now, and she's not in any pain at the moment. If it has to happen, I guess it's best that it happens like this.

Unfortuantely, she was never very strong, so surgery's pretty much a no-go.

But she's comfortable, and I've been reading to her for a couple of hours, now.

I've been reading to her - my dad always said I had a good reading voice, and I'm almost halfway through the first Harry Potter book by now. Just paused for another break.

She's comfortable now, at least.
