Not quite the meme we normally do, but I've seen it floating around and it looked like fun, so, why not?

Here we go, VDR, Cupcake Meme!

Would you look at that? The DR's set out a bunch of cupcakes for everybody to enjoy! It looks like there's a bunch of flavors to choose from, so why not have a bite?

• Someone replies IC!
• In your next comment, RNG ( min 1 max 8 ) for the cupcake that your character receives. Your thread partner will do the same with their next comment.
• Once the character takes a bite, the effects are immediate. HAVE AN ADVENTURE.

['Lenka' suddenly makes a dash for the closest mirror, upon reaching it, 'she' boggles at her reflection for a moment, then removes the elastic around her ponytail and stares even more]

I look like what??

[Gonna follow you to the mirror, though, since 'he' hasn't really seen himself in a mirror yet.]

L... like me, maybe...

[steps back a little so 'Rinto' can see, but his eyes are still locked onto his reflection. he looks... very much like 'that girl' right now, and that's a bit upsetting]

Oh.

Is that not to be expected? The majority of the versions of 'Rin's and 'Len's are twins, or at the very least related somehow.

Y-- yeah, they are. That's... true.

[Have a hand on your shoulder, because you don't look so good.]

['she' starts a little, twisting around slightly to give 'Rinto' a deer-in-the-headlights look. for a brief moment, 'Lenka' considers clinging to 'him', but squashes it just as quickly-- this temporary new form is yet another reminder 'she' doesn't have the right to do that, after all]

I... I think I need to sit down. My... stomach hurts.

['He's still pretty confused as to what's going on with Imitator, so 'he' takes hold of both of 'Lenka's shoulders and leads 'her' over to the nearest chair to sit down.]

Is it another effect of the cupcakes?

[curls up a little upon sitting down, trying to calm 'herself'. Strange, things that were already upsetting before seem especially so now, all the sudden! A human body helps things that hurt emotionally also hurt physically, apparently. And at the moment, everything aches.

The sudden introduction of female hormones is likely not helping much either]

I don't... don't think so.

If you're feeling bad you should stay seated. ['He' insists, and if need be has more physical strength than 'Lenka' at the moment to keep 'her' in the chair.]

But you... you need... I should go get...

[it might come to that, as 'Lenka' is trying to stand up to go get that tea]

[Then it does come to that, as 'Rinto' has taken hold of both 'her' shoulders to force 'her' back into the chair.]

Something is wrong and you should sit until you feel better.

['Lenka's' eyes widen as 'she' realizes she was trying to do something 'Rinto' didn't want her doing... and that now she can't do one of the few things that reliably make 'Rins' near her happy.

Her muscles go slack and her eyes start to water. Looks like the human + newly female hormones have quite 'nicely' attached themselves to 'Lenka's' already present guilt issues]

I...

[At first she's confused when tiny dark circles start appearing on Rin's shorts, it takes a few second before she brings a shaky hand up to confirm that yes, her cheeks are wet too. Then she looks honestly boggled]

Crying is a reaction usually triggered by extreme sadness or stress.

Why?

[This... isn't something 'she's' good at talking about, especially to someone who looks so much like the one she failed and yet wanted to meet so badly.

But 'he' did ask, and 'Lenka' doesn't want to disappoint or upset 'Rinto'. So even if it hurts to even think about the past, and even if all her feelings are tangled up, confusing, and hard to put into words...]

I... am not in that... majority, Rin-san. B-- but I look like 'that girl' right now...

['Rinto' thinks about the information presented, and can only conclude that 'Lenka' had, by some unfortunate circumstance, lost 'her' Rin.

Uncertain on how to help, as 'he' was so new to emotions 'himself', 'he' tries the only thing 'he' can think of and gives 'Lenka' a hug.]

['She's' momentarily shocked, as this is only the second hug 'Lenka' has recieved in her life... But after a moment, instincts kick in and she twists on her seat in order to better cling to 'Rinto'. Several minutes pass this way, with her silently shaking and crying, before she regains control. She pulls away then, cheeks red and obviously not quite back to normal yet, but considerably calmer]

S-- sorry, Rin-san... I'm not usually... happy... when I think about 'her'... but that doesn't usually happen um, either...

['Rinto' simply allows the minutes to pass so that 'Lenka' can have the time 'she' needs to recover. A friend needed comfort, so manly or no, 'he' wasn't going to say anything about it.]

[But 'he' might have some ideas as to the cause of the non-manly behavior once 'Lenka' spoke again.]

Well, as you are presently female, it may have had something to do with the hormone change.
