Not quite the meme we normally do, but I've seen it floating around and it looked like fun, so, why not?

Here we go, VDR, Cupcake Meme!

Would you look at that? The DR's set out a bunch of cupcakes for everybody to enjoy! It looks like there's a bunch of flavors to choose from, so why not have a bite?

Rules
• Post as a character!
• Someone replies IC!
• In your next comment, RNG ( min 1 max 8 ) for the cupcake that your character receives. Your thread partner will do the same with their next comment.
• Once the character takes a bite, the effects are immediate. HAVE AN ADVENTURE.
• If you feel like having another, the previous effects will still be there along with whatever new effect you've been given.
• None of this carries over into DR play, of course. Unless you want it to.

[oh, does he laugh at that. he's uncurling now, scooting over to where Gakupo is sitting and leaning a little shyly against her side, peering over her arm at the book]

[D'awww. She adjusts her arm a bit so shotateru can have a better view of the pages.]

He crawled out of the gorse-bush, brushed the prickles from his nose, and began to think again. And the first person he thought of was Christopher Robin. So, Winnie-the-Pooh went round to his friend Christopher Robin, who lived behind a green door in another part of the Forest.

"Good morning, Christopher Robin," he said.

"Good morning, Winnie-the-Pooh," said you.

"I wonder if you've got such a thing as a balloon about you?"

"A balloon?"

"Yes, I just said to myself coming along: 'I wonder if Christopher Robin has such a thing as a balloon about him?' I just said it to myself, thinking of balloons, and wondering."

[...Oh goodness how deprived this child must have been.] It's a bag that floats in the air, tied down with a string.

What makes it float? It's not magic, is it?

[Shakes her head, unable to keep from smiling just a little.]

It's helium, a special gas that's lighter than air. So if you trap it, you can make things float.

[he settles back down, satisfied this nice new book doesn't have DARK SORCERY in it]

[Nope, no evils to be found in Winnie the Pooh. Just a silly story with a bear disguising himself as a raincloud to trick some bees out of their honey. But evidently bees are suspicious creatures and saw through the act no problem, so Christopher Robin's poor balloon went to waste in the end.

Not precisely a happy ending, but it's written charmingly enough for it to not matter much.]

[shotateru would probably agree. except that he started drowsing off somewhere in there, and by the time Gakupo finishes the story, he is quietly asleep against her, one tiny hand curled in her coat.]

[H'm? Ah, she probably should have noticed before the story ended so she could have set him in a proper sleeping position. Let's see...going to make a gentle, experimental adjustment to see if she could move without disturbing him too much.]
