Unfortunately, however, it was still a cupcake Black had caught. The impact of icing-against-gloved-hand still sent smatterings of frosting in all directions.

So despite his cool catch...he still ended up with quite a bit of frosting damage. Especially his glove, and some of it even got splattered on the book he had been reading.}

Your argument seemed sound, actually, I was just expecting certain persons to hold their temper enough to not hurl pastries in the direction of bystanders and their innocent literature.

If White will handle the book, Campus can tend to His Majesty's poor dirtied gloves and coat. Mainly just gently wiping off any frosting carefully. No patting because fff don't want to embed any stains further into the cloth.]
