I'd never try to get rid of Nigaito. [He hasn't even met Nigaito yet.] You know I'm not that kind of person.

But... I do consider you as someone close to me. And I do enjoy your company.

[KAITO isn't so sure himself. He doesn't say anything for a moment, before asking bluntly.]

Are you relieved? Or disappointed?

[Relieved? Disappointed?]

...I can't tell. I feel both relieved and disappointed, the choice I hardly to choose.

[He's not sure what to say to that.

So, instead, KAITO slows his pace down to walk by Kageito's side and hesitantly reaches out to place a hand on the variant's shoulder.]

[And this is where the warm inside him suddenly rises to his face. He freezes by that move and he looks closer to the blue VOCALOID.]

[He isn't sure what to say anything to him. Gah, KAITO is so close!]

[KAITO stops when the other man stops.

...and then he smiles warmly, while giving Kageito's shoulder a reassuring squeeze.

No matter how Kageito feels — whether he was relieved it was only brotherly love or disappointed that it wasn't something more — KAITO would be here for him.]

[As if that message reaches him directly by that smile, Kageito slowly reaches his mask and covers his face. Though KAITO knows it's obvious, Kageito is naturally will maintain his habit of not showing his emotions at the public. Even his own borther.]

[The mask doesn't make his smile falter. He won't push Kageito to answer, though. He knows the shadow variant has his own ways of doing things. KAITO releases Kageito and affectionately knocks on the forehead of his mask.]

Come on, let's get lunch. [He says gently.]

[N--nods in respond and keeps the face under the mask until he's brave enough to show his face again.

Yeah, better get lunch then or he'll keep himself under this awkward situation. How dumb he can get?]

[KAITO chuckles and leads the way once more.

The cafe they arrive at is warm and comfortable, with seats outside and inside. He turns to Kageito to ask:]

Wanna sit in or out? [There's some music coming from inside, if that matters to Kageito.]

[Finally he reveals his face, looks at him with a frown.]

I prefer inside please.

[Due to weather, it's getting hot next season. How he could survive?]

[He nods and opens the door for them. The cafe has a sort of jazzy feel to it; the lights are rather dim, the wood is dark, and there's some cool air flowing from one area. KAITO leads them to a table, where there's already a couple menus set up.

He takes a seat.] What do you think? Have you been here before?

[Ahh~ Cool air for him~

Oh, he should be sitting then. Once he takes the sit, he peers at the menu.]

It's nice place for lunch and dinner. I might recommend this to the others.

What's your usual order?

Hmmm, me? I usually order...

[He skims the menu to refresh his memory.]

I usually order a sandwich for a main meal or just skip right to the desserts.

[Because desserts are awesome.]

Desserts for lunch? [He bets he's talking about ice cream.]

Try something 'unusual', will you?

Unusual? [He looks down at the menu.]

...what about this Chicken Avocado Melt? [He points at it in the menu— something about a chicken on bread with avocado and artichoke spread. Is it different enough?]

[Shakes head.]

This one looks good.

[Points him at the middle of the menu; 'Chinese Chicken Death Balls'.]

...that's a very frightening name for food, you know.
